About Us
Biscotts is a neighborhood bakery and cafe that opened in South Jordan, UT in 2016. Chai, Coffee and Pastries are our specialties.
With an ever-changing menu of pastries both sweet and savory, we have gained a loyal fan base who crave our specialty offerings.
With two locations in South Jordan, Biscotts is a coffee/chai house, a pastry shop, a lunch spot and so much more. Our delectable selection of celebration cakes for every occasion including birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, house warming parties and everything in between is sure to create a wow effect at your next party.
Founded by restaurateur Lavanya Mahate who also owns Saffron Valley Indian Restaurants, Biscotts pays homage to the corner tea shops and bakeries in India.
The pastries and cakes are influenced by the European style of baking, using less sugar and light whipped cream frosting. Chai is brewed fresh every morning using fresh ginger and spices, making it the most authentic chai in town.
Lavanya is known for combining authentic recipes with fresh, local ingredients. The traditional Madras Kaapi is prepared by combining a dark roast blend by local Kings Peak Coffee Roasters mixed with chicory, brewed in traditional brass filters and served in brass tumblers.
At Biscotts, we believe that there is so much to celebrate in life and we consider every day a perfect occasion to celebrate yourself or someone else. We invite you to come indulge in a decadent slice of cake or a creamy cup of chai.

We’re a team that’s obsessed with creating exceptional moments - menu items, recipes, going above and beyond for a customer, infectious smiles that make life lighter and brighter. Whether we’re swirling up some chai at the café, frosting cakes in our bakery, or working on our laptops making it possible for you to order a custom cake for someone special, we love inspiring others to see a world full of celebration.
Erin
I’m the Store Manager at our Daybreak location. I love making coffee, food and interacting with customers. Outside of Biscotts you have can find me playing the piano, hiking in the mountains or doing ballroom dancing classes with Dan, my love and husband of 19 years.

Ranjith is from Chennai, India, and has been in the culinary industry for over fourteen years! He is the talent behind all of our beautiful pastries.
Esmay
I’m the store Manager at Biscott’s South Jordan Pkwy and I absolutely love it here! I’m passionate about art and coffee and my number one goal is to brighten your day in any way I can!
Joe
I’m the Director of Food and Beverage for Biscotts. With over 20 years in the specialty food industry, most of which has been spent in coffee, I am an expert on high end beverages. I have a near-pathological love of food and spend ridiculous amount of time and energy digging into the history, process, and quality of almost every ingredient I encounter.
